1. How to Type Emojis in Windows 10 & 11
Windows has a built-in emoji picker for any application:
- Click into any text field (Word, Slack, web browser, Discord).
- Press Windows Key ⊞ + . (Period) or Windows Key ⊞ + ; (Semicolon).
- A pop-up window will appear with emojis, kaomojis, and symbols.
- Start typing to filter by keyword and click on your favorite emoji.
2. How to Type Emojis on Apple Mac (macOS)
On macOS, you can bring up the Character Viewer:
- Place your cursor where you wish to write.
- Press Control ⌃ + Command ⌘ + Space simultaneously.
- On newer Mac keyboards, you can also tap the 🌐 (Globe) key.
- Search or click any emoji to insert it.
